Medical Career College Of Northern California - Our Services

The Medical Career College of Northern California offers health care careers in Medical Assisting and X-Ray Technology. Potential students can apply to the Limited X-Ray program if they have a Medical Assisting background or equivalent medical background. Those persons without medical background can apply to the Medical Assisting program and take it simultaneously with the Limited X-Ray Technician program.

Because the school offers the only Limited X-Ray program in Northern California, we schedule training dates that are conducive to long distance travel. Classes for students enrolled in our weekend program attend classes every other weekend for approximately 10 months.

The school expects students enrolled in our programs to fully participate in the program though attendance and commitment to academic excellence. Both programs employ hands on training, which coincide with the lecture material. Class sizes are small, which works well for most learning abilities.
Both the Medical Assisting and Limited X-Ray Technician programs require an externship. The school will place the students on externship as part of the completion of the programs.

The school assists with job placement, offers tutoring, career guidance and is available to assist the student in any way that a promotes successful completion of the program. The school does not, however, guarantee employment
